Day 1

The bus ride to Cardigan was long, but it seemed short because I was with friends. We got there after like two ours, and it was sunny and nice. The AMC guides welcomed us and we played games and ran around. After that, we had lunch. The AMC showed us to our rooms with our bunkmates. We then met our AMC groups, and went on a hike to a river and sketched stuff we saw. I sketched some kids water bottle because it was clinging around and that’s all I could think about at the time. We hiked to a cellar hole. It was amazing how a while back it was a livable place, and how some people decided to modify the environment with a cute little house, which was now just a square of rocks. I found a cool stick. We ate apricots and walked back to the lodge.
